Major upgrade to paper straws Night and day difference vs. regular paper straws, left mine dissolved in liquid for over an hour to see what would happen. Still in it's original form where I'd estimate 99.9% of paper straws would have disintegrated.New & upgraded packaging with autobottom top is much more sturdy as well![Amazon]()

Biodegradable I purchased these straws mainly for the color... it was a plus that they were biodegradable and earth-friendly. They were a great addition to the coffee bar... also purchased were the brown disposable coffee cups with black lids and the clear cups for iced coffee. The straw did to crack, they were sturdy. No taste. They were great size. The box that they came in was a little flimsy, as it seems like the cardboard was also recycled. (which turns out to be a great thing for the environment but not so much for holding the straws in the box... lol). Aside from packaging, the straws were great.![Amazon]()

My fav "green" straws thus far! Except for the unsturdy CHEAP box! Love the straws, sturdy, no taste etc.....BUT the box it comes in need improvement! The box barely holds the straws properly and causes it to spill out! I had to wash them before use as they came spilled in the amazin packaging box...which defeated the purpose of me buying disposable straws!![Amazon]()

A wonderful invention Tried a few kinds of biodegradable straws, all of which did not hold up, often splitting even when inserting into a cup. These, on the other hand, hold up great, even to the point of washing and reusing. The size is also perfect for ice coffees. I’d love it if they came a little taller for jumbo cups. While they hold up great for re-use, I noticed when left in a beverage overnight it starting to degrade. I haven’t tested it yet but will leave it in water for several days out of curiosity to see how long it takes to break down.
